A fire spewing dragon that i drew 3 years ago... scanned it, put it in photoshop, cleaned it up a bit, and applied a filter (dont remember which
 ), then i wrote dragon in cool letter  hahah I would like feedback on this since i know i made a few errors.... for example where the dragon is spewing fire, i messed up mouth a bit because i was still learning layers...  i need to rescan the picture and try again lets see... i think i did ok with the wing closest to the foreground, i seperated it and put it in its own layer and applied a drop shadow... hmmm.. i guess you be the judge... let me know what you think... original scan is posted in my scraps |

The filter and quality of the scan add to the detail.. it looks nicely drawn and I like it
I don't think it would be as easy to get the same quality when you draw it yourself.. but draw something in photoshop with your new Wacom
oo and before I forget: Good Tutorials is very helpful!
